Use a Condom, Give a Condom! Sir Richard's Condoms give to those in need.

Taking a page out of the Tom's Shoes book, Sir Richards has arrived on the scene with what may be an even more important one for one campaign. For every Sir Richards condom purchased, another one will be donated to a developing country. Sir Richard's website states, "We appeal to discerning, responsible individuals who  seek to align their purchases with the change they want to see in the world."

This is a fantastic movement. Sex, condoms, aids, disease, epidemic, it's all taboo yet very real and it's happening all over the world. Education and access can help this growing problem immensely and Sir Richard's is joining the front line.

Here is more of what they have to say:

"Sir Richard’s condoms have nothing to do with Sir Richard Branson.  Which makes us think the marketing of the world’s only high-end fashion condom is disingenuous.  But who cares?  Your package deserves the best.  A cross between gabardine and abstract expressionist art, the condoms are sold at outlets such as Paul Smith and Fred Segal.  And every time you buy one, the company donates another to a country in need.  Bonus: They’re vegan! "

"Mission: At Sir Richard's, we believe safe sex is a basic human right. Only a fraction of the global demand for condoms is met each year. With Sir Richard's, you're helping to bridge that gap. For every Sir Richard's condom bought, we donate one condom to a country in need. We appeal to discerning, responsible individuals who seek to align their purchases with the change they want to see in the world. Doing good never felt better."

...and they mean that last part literally. I've been told there is even a Sir Richard's iPhone app which turns the iPhone into a personal massager for women with three levels of intensity.

You can purchase Sir Richard's Condoms at their Webstore or at local retailers such as Whole Foods; you can learn more about these condoms and the movement at their Website.
