New Nixon Watches - Passport, Axe, Synapse, Axis + More

Today, Nixon dropped several new watch models along with several new color-ways. To my surprise non-of these were from the Black/Gold or Surplus collection that the interwebs have been buzzing about. Some of the released watches have been rumored for some time now and others were a complete shock. The biggest surprise of all, The Passport; Nixon's first Analog world-time watch. In manly 49mm size, I'm fairly confident that I need one of those added to my collection.

Disney decided to follow in the footsteps of designer toy giants like medicom and started a craze with their Vinylmation line of collectible toys. I had some fun today with my new DSLR and my humble collection of Vinylmations. Enjoy.

Black & Gold - More new hotness from Nixon

On the heels of the news of the Surplus collection, photos of Nixon's Black and Gold collection have also surfaced. This collection is also pretty size-able by the number of watches included. Although I am sure Nixon will include other accessories in the collection, photos of other items have not come to light. This collection will be a smashing success as gold is in right now and matte black looks great with everything. The leather watches in the collection look great and are classy to boot; the platform is another watch I am a huge fan of. I own it in drab and it's a reliable compliment-getter. Nixon, when are these coming out? Dates have yet to be announced and there has been no word on nixonnow.com. Enjoy the pics.

Nixon Surplus Collection - New for Summer 2011

More importantly than the new Vestal watches below are the new Nixons for Summer 2011! Dubbed the Surplus Collection, this one has a pretty easily identifiable theme. I am a big fan of great looking watches with PU straps and this collection is chock full of them. I was surprised to see the Elite Magnacon rocking PU, but I think it looks great and may just be a nice compliment to my 2009 Barneys X Nixon Magnacon. The 51-30's and Rubber Player look ill in this new shade of green. This collection is fairly size-able by Nixon standards and includes a whopping 12 watches + hats, bags headphones, and more. Sadly, there are no new watches for this collection, but Nixon has some goodies up their sleeve for fall from what I hear. Enjoy the pictures.
