Toyota FT-86 II Concept Studio Pictures

If you're looking at this post, then you probably already know about this car. This is an important concept for the sport compact scene and if the production model looks anything like this then I just want to say: woohoo!

BMW Love

Lately, I've been obsessing over the BMW 3-series sedans. They look so clean dropped on some nice wheels. Canibeat covered the LTBMW meet that happened over the weekend and they shared some nice eye candy with the world. These 3-series sedans were just some of the many BMW's at the meet, but they are right up my alley. Thank you!

M3 Sedan in  white - So gorgeous.
...and a Maz for good measure.

Katy Perry - "E.T." (feat. Kanye West) Official Lyrics Video

Katy Perry's lyrics video is surprisingly entertaining to watch despite the fact that you don't get to actually look at the stunning Katy Perry herself. Oh well. Enjoy.

Captain America Trailer

HTC EVO 3D - No glasses required

In general I would rather watch a movie in blu-ray high definition than in 3D of any kind. It tends to be a distracting gimmick that doesn't add to the experience of a good film. I know I am not alone in this feeling. Whether I like it or not, however, 3D continues to gain traction as a popular medium and has even come into our homes in the form of over-priced 3D TV sets which require costly 3D specific players and ugly glasses to enjoy the experience. Finally a company has come out with a 3D experience which does NOT require glasses... on a phone. I am very curious to check this thing out first had, but according to HTC, their EVO 3D delivers 3D photos and video and does not require any ugly eyewear. HTC says, "Life looks better in 3D and you look better without the glasses." For once, I agree. Also equipped with a 1.2 Ghz processor, this phone is sure to impress and is due to release sometime this summer.

Nike + Ostrich

It's not a new design concept, but it's growing in popularity: ostrich leather, or faux-ostrich leather. It can be easily identified by the round dimples that look like a custom pattern etched in the leather. Nike did it a decade ago on a collaboration with Stussy. They did it again recently on an all-black Air Max 90 collaboration as well. Another brand noted for it's designs has used ostrich recently as well: Nixon. They currently offer an all-ostrich leather wallet and they used ostrich accents on their 2009 Exclusive for Barney's Co-op Magnacon. The latest installment of Nike's classic dunk is a pack consisting of several color-ways with an ostrich swoosh. Several sources reported on these dunks earlier this month, but a release date is still TBD. The last picture is of the dunk low white/gridiron/ostrich; this shoe was discovered more recently.

Jack Daniel's Introduces a New Honey Whiskey

At Waffles! we love our whiskey. Shortly after the release of the Wild Turkey American Honey, Jack Daniel's answers back with their own style of Honey Whiskey. I haven't had the pleasure of trying it yet, but I can definitely say that I like Jack better than Wild Turkey and Wild Turkey's honey whiskey was legit; if that is any indication of what this version of Jack will be, then sign me up. Give it a go with some ginger ale and let me know what you think.

Singer Porsche 911

Driving a nice Porsche can turn heads, but rolling up in a Singer 911 will break necks. Singer Auto has "reimagined" the Porsche 911 for 2011. It may be reminiscent of the 70's era RS cars but upon closer inspection you will notice it has been custom built from the ground up with modern tech and performance. The idea behind this vehicle was to take the choicest parts of all the greatest 911's and mash them together to create the ultimate Porsche. The best part, it's in production now. This car has the body lines of the best 70's Porsche's with carbon fiber body panels, Bilstein suspension, 400+ hp engine, Brembo brakes, and a bespoke interior. Contact Singer Auto for pricing and ordering.

Nike SB Dunks - Statue of Liberty

The latest release from Nike SB is these sick-as-hell special edition dunks in the "statue of liberty" colorway. What sets these dunks apart is their ability to wear and reveal a copper tone layer below the  green a-la Nixon Chromacoat. This idea is breakthrough in the sneaker world just as it is in the watch game. It provides for one-off customization and personalization as the scratches and scars tell the story of these sneaks and their owner's time together.
